Our gelato is made with the best produce of our land, organic and of high quality. We have prepared it with passion since 1986.
Our adventure in Cinque Terre started in 1986 when we opened a bar/gelateria, Gelateria Vernazza.
In 1992 Pino Giannoni moved to La Spezia but he left his heart in Cinque Terre: few years later, he could not resist the call of that land and decided to go back where he applied himself to the passion of his life: the artisan gelato.
In 2012 Pino's son, Gian Luca, took over the business. Since I was a child, I observed my father preparing our artisan gelato for Cinque Terre tourists. In doing so, I learned the art of the Italian traditional artisan.
After years of experience, I joined a professional course for Maestro Gelatiere at the Italian School of Gelato (Università dei Sapori – Perugia). There, I was able to improve my technique and to study in depth the raw materials and the ingredients useful for a perfect gelato.
Once in Liguria, a land that I truly love and cherish, I put the theory into practice and opened a new shop in La Spezia, so that the citizens near Cinque Terre could also taste the true workmanlike artisan gelato.
Nowadays, Giannoni family traditions are safe: our inspiring motto "Love – Passion – Tradition" is still alive both in our and everybody's heart.
